Specially Designed SEAL Practice Tests That Simulate The Original SEAL Exam

The Victorian Education Department has taken measures to help brilliant children accelerate through learning programs and lower their schooling from six to five years. The SEAL (Select Entry Accelerated Learning Program) is one such initiative. Select Entry Accelerated Learning is a one-of-a-kind program offered by around 39 public Victorian high schools. It basically starts in Year 7 (so your child takes the exam while in Year 6), and these selective entry programs allow your child to attend certain classes that can 'fast-track' their education.

To prepare students better and in the most suitable environment, Test Champs provide students with specially designed SEAL practice tests that help them familiarize themselves with the structure and difficulty level of the exam. With Test Champs' potent practice tests, students get the confidence boost to take the exam with ease. Our mission is to help the advanced students who are ahead of their peers to join the much-needed advanced SEAL program for their effective growth. At Test Champs, along with SEAL, we also provide practice tests for other selective school exams like the IGNITE and GATE/ASET.

What Does The SEAL Program Include?

The Victorian government offers a Select Entry Accelerated Learning Program for advanced students who are ready to start high school. The SEAL Program Edutest exam for year 7 is composed of five portions, four of which contain multiple-choice questions and one of which is an essay.

  • Written Expression: Your child has to create a composition for this part,  Depending on the instructions given, a  creative, descriptive, narrative, persuasive, expository, or informative piece of writing may be tested.

  • Reading Comprehension: A variety of materials, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, cartoons, and more, will be given to the candidates. They must read the content and evaluate its importance and consequences. This suggests that in order to complete this part quickly, they will require a focused mental process and language competence.

  • Mathematical reasoning: Measurement, algebra, space, and data are among the year-level pertinent mathematical concepts tested in the mathematics exam. While some questions could be simple, the majority are difficult.

  • Verbal reasoning: it is focused largely on pattern identification and the use of language and vocabulary. Sometimes the language isn't English; decoding a code written in an alien vernacular might be a verbal reasoning difficulty.
